GILOSONITE

Gilsonite (also known as uintahite, Asphaltum or asphaltite) is a naturally occurring soluble solid hydrocarbon, a form of asphalt (or bitumen) with a relatively high melting temperature. Its large-scale production occurs in the Uintah Basin of Utah and Colorado, United States.

QUALITY

Actually based on Gilsonite mine locations in Iran we have the same level of American Gilsonite product in main item as Ash content, Solubility which is main item in sorting of Gilsonite.

Our Current output quality form mine is in 3 level of grade

     Grade A     

    Ash Content : Below 10                    

Solubility in CCL4: above 85%                    

Grade B             

 Ash Content : Below 15                         

         Solubility in CCL4: above 80%                         

         Grade C                        

Ash Content : Below 20                                   

Solubility in CCL4: above 70%                                   

MINE

 Monthly for each mine 15,000 Ton output capacity.

Totally 12 mine is working which 3 of them is able to export for other country and remain is for domestic market based on their quality and production possibility
